U-ROCK® Network

Brand & Trademark — established 1999

Who owns the U-ROCK® brand

The U-ROCK® Network, LLC owns the U-ROCK® trademark and the associated marks, logos, and brand identity used across our broadcast stations, U-Rock® Records, community platforms, and affiliate network. This brand represents decades of investment in independent broadcast culture, artist development, and community media — and we protect it accordingly.

Trademark licensing

If your business currently operates under a name that is the same as, or confusingly similar to, U-ROCK® or a related mark, we would rather work out a straightforward licensing arrangement than pursue disputes. Our approach is built on good faith, clarity, and mutual respect.

A typical U-ROCK® trademark license covers:

Defined term

A fixed license period (commonly multi-year), with a clear renewal conversation before expiration.

Defined scope

Your specific line of business and use of the name — nothing broader, nothing ambiguous.

One agreed fee

Licensing terms are set case-by-case based on scope, history, and business line.

Clear ownership

The agreement confirms U-ROCK® Network, LLC as trademark owner, giving you documented certainty to keep operating.

Every situation is different. Reach out and we'll have a direct, good-faith conversation about what a license looks like for your business specifically.

Beyond the paperwork

We're building a network centered on independent creators, media, education, and community. Where a trademark license makes sense, we're also open to exploring how our organizations might work together — directory listings, promotional features, interviews, or educational collaboration. A license doesn't have to be the end of the conversation.
